Driver Seriously Hurt As Dump Truck Overturns In Morris County: Photos A dump truck driver was seriously hurt after the vehicle overturned in Morris County Tuesday morning, authorities said. The Long Valley Fire Company responded to the crash on Schooley’s Mountain Road just before 7:10 a.m., the department said. The driver was extricated with help from the local first aid squad and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The Morris County Road Department worked to clear the road as other crews righted the truck. The county HazMaz team was also called to the scene to assist with a hydraulic leak, LVFC said. 2 Hospitalized In Head-On Morris County Crash (Photos) Two people were hospitalized following a head-on crash in Morris County, authorities said. The Long Valley First Aid Squad responded to the crash with EMS and Rescue 1 and 2 in Long Valley during the afternoon on Saturday, Sept. 10. The Long Valley Fire Company No. 1 tended to a fluid spill while EMS crew members treated two patients at the scene and transported them to nearby hospitals, the squad said. One Extricated, 2 Others Hospitalized In Serious Morris County Crash (Photos) One person had to be extricated and two others were hospitalized following a serious crash in Morris County, authorities said. The Long Valley First Aid Squad responded to the crash during the afternoon on Tuesday, Sept. 6, the department said. Crew members stabilized the vehicle and used a cross ram technique to remove the b-pillar from the victim. The patient was then taken by Saint Clare’s Health to Morristown Medical Center while two other victims were taken to Hackettstown Medical Center for treatment, the department said. Longtime NJ Physician, Beloved Father Of 4 Dr. Christopher Muenzen Struck And Killed By Car, 66 Longtime New Jersey physician and beloved father of four Dr. Christopher Paul Muenzen was killed after being struck by a car in Montana at the age of 66, reports say. Muenzen was struck by a 36-year-old man attempting to back up a Chevy Silverado in downtown Helena around 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 21 and died as a result of of blunt force injuries, KTVQ reports citing Helena Police. Raised in Rahway, Muenzen went to St. Joseph High School in Metuchen and graduated from Cornell University, his obituary says.
