Lyndhurst PD: Special Needs Adult Charged With Asking Boy On Street If He Was Gay, Needed Ride A special needs adult from Belleville was taken into custody after he approached a 15-year-old Lyndhurst boy, asked if he was gay, then offered him a ride home, authorities said. "At no point did the suspect make or attempt to make physical contact with the juvenile," Detective Vincent Auteri said Thursday.
