One person was airlifted to a trauma center as crews doused a fully-involved house fire in Hunterdon County on Thursday, Nov. 17. (Scroll for photos). A pickup truck driver was hurt after crashing into a Hunterdon County home and causing major damage, authorities said. The High Bridge Fire Department responded to the crash at 10 Church Street just before 4:50 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, the squad said. The driver suffered minor injuries in the impact, and the residents exited the home safely, the department said. Firefighters Battle Smoky Attic Blaze In Hunterdon County
Firefighters made quick work of an attic that went up in flames in Hunterdon County over the weekend. The Lebanon Township Fire Department responded to the blaze at a home on Silker Road around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, the squad said. Upon arrival, the department confirmed a fire in the attic and had to open up the roof to gain access. A car barreled through a Hunterdon County brewery and caused severe damage, shutting the business down until further notice, authorities said. Two dogs were rescued from a Hunterdon County home that went up in flames over the weekend, authorities said. The Hampton Fire Co. Station 13 responded to a burning home in Lebanon Township and found two dogs trapped shortly before 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, the department said. Firefighters worked to clear the home of smoke while dousing the blaze, which was reported by a vigilant passerby, the department said.
