Off-Duty Cliffside Park Officer Injured In Crash An off-duty Cliffside Park police officer was injured when a driver suddenly pulled in front of his motorcycle Tuesday night, authorities said. The 30-year-old officer was headed south in the 400 block of Gorge Road near Park Avenue when a local resident who was headed north turned into his driveway in front of him, Deputy Police Chief Vincent Capano said. The six-year veteran's Harley struck the rear passenger side of the 60-something driver's Honda Civic, Capano said. Classroom Guinea Pig Injured By Cat Needs Home, Bergen County Shelter Says Harley was so close. The 10-month-old classroom guinea pig almost had a forever home. But the family cat wasn't having it. Now, the Bergen County Animal Shelter is seeking a home for Harley. Harley (7262) was a classroom pet. She was turned in by a lady who had offered to take her home, but her cat objected.  Harley is a friendly and happy to be handled. The $10 adoption fee does not include a cage.
