Muffins Sold At 7-Eleven, Stop & Shop Walmart Recalled Over Listeria Concerns Muffins sold under seven different brand names were recalled over listeria concerns. Give and Go Prepared Foods (U.S.A.) Corp. on Wednesday announced the nationwide recall of certain products sold at 7-Eleven, Stop & Shop and Walmart. The products could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems, according to the FDA. More Illnesses After Recall Of 200M Eggs Due To Salmonella Outbreak A dozen more people have fallen ill from a salmonella outbreak that led to the recall of more than 200 million eggs from nine states, including New York and New Jersey, last month. The number of those who have been sickened from the contaminated eggs is now 35, with 11 of them having been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.
