Police: Four Swipe Merch, Flee Woodcliff Lake Apple Store BREAKING: Four men fled the Apple store at Tice's Corner in Woodcliff Lake with stolen merchandise early Monday afternoon, authorities said. Police issued an alert for two men in puffy goose-down jackets -- two green and two black -- who they said stuffed the items in their pockets before fleeing the Chestnut Ridge Road store in a white Acura sedan shortly before 1:30 p.m. Anyone who saw something or has information that could help catch the thieves is asked to contact Woodcliff Lake PD: (201) 391-8222.

Acme Stores In Woodcliff Lake, Elmwood Park To Shutter A pair of Bergen County Acme markets will shutter this fall, a company spokesperson said. The Woodcliff Lake (Chestnut Ridge Road) and Elmwood Park (Broadway) stores will shutter by Oct. 2, a company spokesperson told NJ.com. Two other stores in Weehawken and Scarsdale, N.Y. will also be closing around the same time, Acme spokeswoman Dana Ward told the media outlet. Acme closed its Park Ridge location in 2018, just three years after renewing the lease from a shuttered A&P. Its Bergenfield store also went out of business in 2017. No word yet on the stores' replacements.

Those words are painted on the Woodcliff Lake business' roof and can be seen on satellites from outer space (Google Maps has proof). "Steve.com" is also painted on, which is the personal blog of third generation and current owner Stephen Perillo. The Chestnut Ridge Road company is the largest travel company to Italy in the U.S. since 1945, its website says.
