Neurosurgeon Talks Concussions In Saddle River

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- Saddle River Day School will host a meeting on concussions on Thursday, Feb. 11.

Dr. Alexander Post is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS).

While concussions can occur at any age, brain injuries in children require specialized assessment and approaches to intervention. Every year, approximately 500,000 children visit an emergency room for traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) - the single leading cause for emergency visits among adolescents.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
