Waldwick High School Inducts Inaugural 2016 Hall of Fame Class

WALDWICK, N.J.– A star-studded lineup of athletes and coaches comprised Waldwick High School's inaugural Hall of Fame class.

The inductees were: John Lanchantin (Class of 1971)– basketball; Kathy Dunn ('75)– track; Keith Woetzel ('79)– football; Patti Blackman ('88) – soccer, basketball, softball; Hamid Chalileh ('89)– wrestling; Marc DelGaudio ('89) – football, wrestling; Mark DeMenna ('94) – baseball, soccer; Coach Paul Puglise; the 1995 Boys Soccer Team; and Special Contributor Frank Desimini.

Chalileh is the school's lone state champion wrestler. 

"It was a humbling experience to be included in the inaugural class, which is filled with talent," DeMenna told Daily Voice. 

Over 200 people attended the April 7 event at Macaluso's in Hawthorne.
