On March 1, Jason R. Gangi of River Vale and Emerson had the following certificates suspended:
- Teacher of Elementary School in Grades K-6
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificates of Eligibility with Advanced Standing and Teacher of Elementary School in Grades K-6
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities
"After the teaching certification matter was transmitted to the Office of Administrative Law for hearing, Gangi presented a proposal to the Board in which he would agree to a 30 month suspension of his certificates," the Board said.
"Gangi did not admit or concede the truth of the allegations in the Order to Show Cause."
