HO-HO-KUS, N.J. — A Ho-Ho-Kus school custodian has filed a lawsuit in Bergen County Superior Court saying the superintendent pressured him to retire and then eliminated his position, NJ.com reports.
George Dawson, 67, Westwood, began working as a custodian for the district in 1999, the article says.
The Ho-Ho-Kus schools Superintendent Diane Mardy told Dawson his position would be eliminated as part of a reduction in force last April, and his contract would not be renewed, NJ.com says.
