Robert M. Hernandez, 37, had no identification and gave police a fake name (Marcus Campbell) when they arrested him and brought him back to their Journal Square precinct in Jersey City for processing, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.

They charged Hernandez with theft of services, then turned him over to Hoboken police, who said he stole a surveillance team bicycle.

Hernandez, who also had a warrant out of his Toms River home for theft of construction materials, is suspected in series of Hoboken burglaries, Pentangelo said.
