A 10 a.m. funeral Mass will be held Thursday at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, followed by burial in Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
Elizabeth, who made a deep and lasting impression on so many people, died of brain cancer yesterday.
“There were no more treatment options,” a friend of the family told CLIFFVIEW PILOT last night. “It was time for her pain to end.”

Elizabeth was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was 13 months old. She endured craniotomies, high-dose chemotherapy and a stem-cell transplant, at tremendous expense to her family.
Yet so many came to their aid, holding fundraisers and contributing to a special fund in her name.
Last year, the brave child with the shy smile beamed amid cheers from the crowd at a benefit Westwood Regional High School varsity basketball game christened “Elizabeth Night.” It followed “Elizabeth Day” in the district a month before.
Both times, everyone wore purple — Elizabeth’s favorite color. She got flowers and other gifts, and the basketball team even delivered a thrilling, last-minute win.
It not only helped the Fascianos: It also meant a great deal to their little angel.
“That’s all you want for your kid,” said her father, Michael.

At the time, Mike and his wife, Katie, were reluctant about publicity, even as expenses mounted. But friends and family coaxed them, and the love showered upon the couple, their two younger girls and courageous Elizabeth was tremendous.
Elizabeth literally jumped for joy during those special moments, loved ones said.
