Louis Tantillo, 50, posted $250,000 bail and was freed hours after his arrest Friday pending an arraignment earlier today on charges of aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment.

Investigators from Molinelli’s Special Victims Unit and the Upper Saddle River Police Department charged Tantillo, who is married, in connection with a sleepover at his home, sources told CLIFFVIEW PILOT over the weekend (SEE: Upper Saddle River construction company owner charged with sexually assaulting girl).

The alleged victim, now 16, lives in another state, the prosecutor said.

She “recently disclosed to a school counselor what had occurred and the counselor contacted the victim’s mother and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, who notified the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit,” Molinelli said.

During a subsequent interview, she “provided specific details” about what happened that night, he said.
