Midland Park Swears In New Police Officer

MIDLAND PARK, N.J. -- Kreshnick Mahmudi was sworn in as the newest officer in the Midland Park Police Department.

Mahmudi previously worked as a Class II special law enforcement officer in Pompton Lakes. He also served as a part-time dispatcher in both Pompton Lakes and Ringwood, according to his LinkedIn profile. 

Mayor Patrick "Bud" O'Hagan administered the oath of office on Oct. 22 while Mahmudi's brother, Madrit, held the Bible.
