Kenneth Pfulg, 25, remained free on $20,000 bail in connection with the chase, which police said went along Route 208 before ending at Newtown Road in Wyckoff near the Midland Park border.
Damage by Pflug’s 2003 Nissan Sentra during the Jan. 17 incident included a guard rail on Cedar Hill Avenue near Maple Court in Wyckoff, police said at the time.
Wyckoff and Midland Park officers grabbed Pflug and turned him over to Glen Rock police after the grade-crossing crash.
All train traffic was stopped so the damaged warning signal for the New York Susquehanna & Western freight line could be repaired.
Pflug is charged with second-degree eluding law enforcement while operating a motor vehicle and “purposely attempting to prevent an arrest by flight.”
He was also issued several summonses, including DUI.
