When stuff began disappearing, a 21-year-old North Bergen woman hid a camera behind a plant — and caught her landlady stealing from her, police said.
Police said the Bergenline Avenue tenant, who lives near 77th Street, produced several images of 54-year-old Nelly Herrera entering her room and taking nearly $8,000 in cash and $200 worth of jewelry.
Herrera was arrested Monday and released on $3,000 bail, pending a court date.
