Elderly woman hospitalized in Ridgewood parked car crash

ONLY ON CVP: An elderly Midland Park resident was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood this afternoon after her car slammed into another, pushing it onto the sidewalk. Her injuries didn’t appear life-threatening, authorities said.

Ridgewood police, firefighters and EMS workers responded to the crash just after 2 p.m. on West Ridgewood Avenue at Maltbie Drive.

Both vehicles were removed by a flatbed tow truck.
