A Nissan Rogue and a Hyundai Elantra collided around 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and East Franklin Turnpike.
One of the drivers complained of chest pain from the deployed air bag and was tended by members of the Ho-Ho-Kus Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
Borough firefighters cleaned up a minor fluid leak. Police also responded.
Both vehicles were removed by a flatbed tow truck.
