No injuries were reported, nor was anyone arrested or detained.

However, authorities asked all attending to leave the property of the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Sikh Temple to avoid any potential escalation.

Among the agencies responding today were the Bergen County Police Department and police from Glen Rock, Fair Lawn, Paramus, Ridgewood, Waldwick and Hawthorne.

The incident harkened to an episode 3½ years ago at the temple, when two people were arrested for assaulting a police officer during a parking lot melee outside the Prospect Street temple.
