Detectives charge trio with trafficking in child porn

CLIFFVIEW PILOT HAS IT FIRST: A dog walker, a Teterboro aeronautics student and a supermarket clerk were all trafficking in child pornography, say computer crimes detectives who arrested them at their Bergen County homes.

Among those arrested was Nicholas Sabino, of Elmwood Park, who turned 25 today. An employee of Fetch Pet Care in Ridgewood, Sabino is being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.

The others:

Anton A. Volovetskiy, 26, of Little Ferry, a student at the Teterboro School of Aeronautics. He is being held on $35,000 bail at the Bergen County Jail.

Jakob Menzo, 21, of Ramsey, a Bergen Community College student who works in the dairy section of an area Shop-Rite. His bail is $25,000.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said his Computer Crimes Task Force traced images and videos of
pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts to the trio and arrested them before 7 a.m. Thursday.

The task force, which rotates in officers from throughout the county, currently includes officers from the Bergen County Police Department and municipal departments in Lyndhurst, Wayne, Bogota, Tenafly, Saddle River, Maywood, Washington Township, Upper Saddle River, Woodcliff Lake and Ramsey, the prosecutor said.

Charges include possession and distribution of child pornography and child endangerment.
