Cyclist injured in county bike path fall

A female bicycle rider was brought to the hospital with a head injury after crashing in a mud-covered section of the Saddle River County Bike Path in Paramus on this first afternoon of Spring 2014.

The crash occured on a section of the popular bike path that traverses under Route 4, just west of Paramus Road.

Responding were Bergen County and Fair Lawn police, Fair Lawn EMS and a paramedic unit from St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson.
