Officers Justin Zanca and Brian Kropp arrested 24-year-old Cristiana Cyriax of Upper Saddle River after finding her with 30 Xanax, more than 50 grams of marijuana and small amount of cocaine during a Route 46 traffic stop, Capt. Robert Kaiser told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this evening.
She was also carrying scales and packing material for distribution purposes, as well as $400 in ill-gotten gains that were seized, he said.
Cyriax was released from the Bergen County Jail this afternoon after posting $15,000 bail. She’s charged with possession of marijuana and prescription drugs for sale, among other offenses.
Cyriax had been free on bail after pleading guilty to reduced charges last October involving alleged drug deals with her boyfriend, Sean Stark of Paramus.
As part of her deal, she agreed to help prosecutors who’ve charged Stark and two other men with eventually putting a gun into the hands of Robert Leonardis — a self-proclaimed Bloods gang member who was wanted for the attempted murder of his girlfriend’s husband when he led Hackensack officers on a chase that ended in a violent confrontation the morning of July 22, 2013.
Authorities said Alberto Rodriguez of Pembroke Pines bought a gun that he sold to Jerry “Angel” Nunez of Cliffside Park for $500 and shipped it to New Jersey via UPS.
Nunez then sold the gun to Stark, who gave it to Leonardis, they said.
