Church fire not suspicious, prosecutor says

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: From Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli: “This is to notify you all that the fire that occurred at the Church of Good Shepherd located in Midland Park… is not considered to be an arson nor suspicious in nature.”

Molinelli’s arson squad examined the aftermath of the blaze, which broke out late last night and destroyed much of the church. Firefighters were able to save the 102-year-old church’s sanctuary and its contents.
