Each Christmas, the non-profit CUMAC operates a “wish-list” program as part of its mission to alleviate hunger and its root causes in Paterson and Passaic County.

Upper Saddle River's police union this season proudly fulfilled the wishes of 20 children, providing toys, gift cards, clothing, and jackets.

Overall, CUMAC (the Center of United Methodist Aid to the Community) granted wishes to roughly 1,000 children in need this season.

To participate in next year’s wish list, contact Jennifer Miller, the CUMAC community engagement coordinator, at (973) 742-5518.
