The woman was reportedly planning to visit her daughter, who works in an office at the Godwin Avenue building.
As she was parking, the car continued forward, right over the retaining wall and into the parking lot of an adjacent office building.
Midland Park firfighters stabilized the car with heavy chains and winches, then removed the driver’s side door using the “Jaws of Life.”
Members of the Midland Park Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Midland Park Police Department tended to the woman. The extent of her injuries was unknown although not considered serious.
