Allendale crash sends 3 to hospital

ONLY ON CVP: A crash in Allendale this afternoon sent at least three people to area hospitals and required firefighters to use the Jaws of LIfe to free one of the drivers.

The collision of a Toyota Camry and Lincoln Crossover loaner vehicle occured just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of West Crescent Avenue and Hamilton Street.

Ambulances from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and Allendale transported the victims after members of Allendale Rescue and Engine freed the Camry driver.

Also at the scene were chiefs from Saddle River and Ramsey.

West Crescent was shut down in the area as victims were tended to and the wrecks were cleared.

Allendale police were investigating.
