$10,000 in Ecstasy seized, two arrested in Ramsey

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Police seized $10,000 worth of Ecstasy, $4,400 in cash and a small amount of marijuana from two Long Island men following them into Ramsey and pulling over their car. The Bergen County Narcotics Task Force, along with the Upper Saddle River and Ramsey police departments stopped Thomas Trant, 22, of Amityville, and Eric Earl, of Massapequa, on Tuesday as part of an investigation into drug trafficking, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

Inside the car, they found eight ounces and 19 capsules of Ecstasy, a few grams of pot, and the cash, he said.

Both are being held on $50,000 bail each in the Bergen County Jail.
