Veronica 'Ronnie' House, 77, Midland Park Resident

MIDLAND PARK, N.J. -- Veronica "Ronnie" House -- a Midland Park resident, formerly of Waldwick -- died on Sunday, May 22. She was 77.

House was a longtime parishioner of St. Luke's Church, in Ho-Ho-Kus, where she was in charge of trips and tours for the St. Luke's Seniors. She "was well-known for taking care of her grandchildren and anyone who needed some tender loving care," information from the funeral home noted.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John; children Teresa Lairmore, John House and his wife Catherine, Mary Ellen Roodenburg and her husband Chris; grandchildren Christopher, Taylor, Timothy, John Patrick, Connor, Caitlin and Ryan; and siblings Nancy Fearon, Marge Fearon, Ellen Boman, Patricia Smith and Edward Kelly.

House was predeceased by her siblings, George and Francis Kelly.

Visiting hours will be from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., in Ridgewood. Everyone is invited to meet at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Luke's Church, in Ho-Ho-Kus.
