Marie Langerlaan, 92, Formerly Of Midland Park

MIDLAND PARK, N.J. – Marie Langerlaan, 92, formerly of Midland Park, died Friday, Oct. 16 in East Stroudsburg, Pa.

Born in Clifton, she was the daughter of William and Johanna DeMol. She was a resident of Midland Park before moving to East Stroudsburg. She was a matron for the Parsippany Troy-Hills Board of Education before retiring in 1982. She was a longtime member of the Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park and was attending the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter J. Potvin Sr., in 1980; her second husband, John Langerlaan, in 2002; and one brother.

She is survived by her son Walter J. Potvin, Jr. (Loretta); a daughter Joann Mack; one sister; four grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
