Saddle River Women's Club Launches Program For Wyckoff Girl Fighting Cancer

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- The Saddle River Valley Junior Woman’s Club is hosting a collection for gently used American Girl dolls in collaboration with Wyckoff resident Rebecca “ Becca Boo” Salmins entitled "Project No Hair, Don’t Care!”

Becca Boo was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on her first day of first grade in 2014 and currently is undergoing treatment. Monthly, Becca Boo will be sending over all the American Girl Dolls she collects to American Girl in New York City to have their heads replaced with hairless ones to be donated back to child warriors who also are battling cancer.
