Fundraisers Aim To Help Midland Park Girl Fight Cancer Relapse

MIDLAND PARK, N.J. — A widespread community is rallying around the family of a 6-year-old Midland Park girl who has relapsed after two years of battling Stage 4 neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer.

Hawthorne's new makeup studio Studio M is holding two "MomMe Night Out" relaxation events on Friday, Nov. 20 to benefit little Angelina and her family.

The 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. sessions will include a Reiki session, hand treatments, mystical readings, light refreshments and more. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door.

Angelina this week will be taking a series of tests to determine whether she has made enough progress to move on to immunotherapy.

The family is facing both emotional and financial stress from the treatments, as well as child care for Angelina's older brother and transportation costs to and from the Manhattan hospital.Nearly $18,000 had been raised as of Nov. 10 on a revived GoFundMe page, Angelina's Army Fights Relapse.
