The Sunday concert is to feature award-winning, Ridgewood-based composers Melinda Wagner and Gilad Cohen, according to a statement from Parlance Chamber Concerts.
Wagner is a Pulitzer Prize winner whose “Trombone Concerto” recently premiered at the New York Philharmonic, according to organizers, who said she is currently working on a piece for the Chicago Symphony.
Cohen, a Ramapo College professor, earned his Ph.D from Princeton University and won the 2010 Israeli Prime Minister Award for Composers and the 2016 Barlow Endowment, according to organizers.
The pair will be leading solo harpists Mariko Anraku and Emmanuel Ceysson, according to organizers, who said the musicians will be joined by other members of the MET Orchestra.
Scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday at West Side Presbyterian Church, 6 S. Monroe St., the concert is to include duos and ensemble works featuring the harp by French composers Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy, according to organizers.
