WALDWICK, N.J. -- The weekly meetings for Neighbors-helping-Neighbors USA are beeing conducted at libraries in Waldwick, Westwood, Wayne and Hackensack.
Neighbors-helping-Neighbors USA Inc.is a cost-free, grassroots, nationally recognized, peer-led volunteer weekly job search support and networking group targeted to adults who are actively looking for work and interested in reinvigorating their job search.
Weekly meetings are at the following libraries:
- Waldwick, Mondays, 7 p.m.
- Westwood, Tuesdays, 7 p.m.
- Wayne, Wednesdays, 7 p.m.
- Hackensack High School, Thursdays, 6:30 p.m. (in Spanish)
Membership is open to anyone in career transition, including unemployed or underemployed individuals, recent college graduates and veterans re-entering the job market in the fields of business, nonprofit and education, as well as persons re-entering the job market, struggling small business owners and anyone looking for part-time or volunteer work.
Founded by John R. Fugazzie and started in River Edge, NhN has fostered a “pay it forward” and an accountability weekly meeting model.
It has helped more than 550 people land jobs since it was founded.
