HO-HO-KUS, N.J. -- Ho-Ho-Kus Unplugged is re-scheduling Pumpkinfest 2016 for the raindate of Sunday, Oct. 23, on the front lawn and side field of the HoHoKus School, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
More than 300 people are expected for the big autumn celebration offering traditional fall activities such as hay rides, cider, apples and donuts face painting, games and lots of pumpkins. All food and activities are free; the pumpkins will be $5.
Entertainment will be provided by blue grass band Blue Plate Special from Ridgewood. All the food will be donated by Applebee's.
HHK Unplugged is an organization sponsored by the HoHoKus Home and School Association (HSA) that holds events all year aimed at getting families to unplug from their gadgets and get together and do fun things face to face. Other popular events have included a West Point Football game and tailgate, a trip to the Big Apple Circus, Mets games, a cappella concerts, astronomy night, a hike/food drive at Ramapo, among other activities.
