Well, except for that one time when their son was born.

But even that was an accident for the couple, who own Lynn's Pet Care together.

Aside from that, they have never missed a walk, nor have they turned away a client.

Mike, a former newspaper ad salesman, says the business has brought him more than he could've ever dreamed of.

"It has lowered my blood pressure and made me the happiest guy in the world," said Mike, who has three dogs of his own at home with Angela.

Mike was the one who found the gig, back in 2003 when he saw an article in one of the weeklies about people walking dogs and making extra money.

So he put an ad of his own in the paper, and began caring for people's pets sporadically.

Angela, an ICU nurse, helped when she had time, but Mike was the one keeping the business in motion.

The real transition for Mike happened in 2015, when the newspaper went under, and Lynn's Pet Care began to thrive.

"I love being able to hang out with pets all day," Mike told Daily Voice. "I love to walk, get my cardio in and help people in need."

But Mike and Angela aren't just dog walkers. For many of their clients, they've become friends. Confidants. It's become personal.

All because of the trust that goes into caring for their pets.

"When you call, you get me," Mike said. "I'm always in touch and I'll always send photos of your pets, and give you a heads up with any concerns."

He's shoveled driveways, fixed toilets and moved furniture.

He loves everything that the business has brought to him.

"It's a wonderful thing," Mike said. "I have such a nice relationship with so many people because of this."
