MIDLAND PARK, N.J.– Edward Capozzi went to get a cup of coffee at Dunkin Donuts in Midland Park and left with a piece of rock-and-roll history.
"I saw this room full of autographs and guitars and all kinds of memorabilia, which I love," the Ridgewood-based attorney told Daily Voice about his first time in Team Baker Collection, which is connected to the coffee franchise.
The Black Sabbath fan bought a drum head signed by Ozzy Osbourne and kept coming back for presidential signatures.
"I've been collecting since I was 8 years old," said owner Mitch Baker, who discovered silver and calendars from the mid-1800s in his River Vale hometown. "What I really like to get is something that people don't have, one-of-a-kind items."
From a Tim Tebow motorcycle to a 1977 World Series ring to the Christian Dior gown that Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis's wore in 1958 – there's a story behind every item.
"It's all my favorite. I pick so selectively so there's no garbage," said Baker, a father of three from Wyckoff. "It all means something to me."
