A GoFundMe page said Mary Rodriguez died just days after celebrating her 21st birthday. She was the mother of a two-year-old boy. ‘Another Chance At Life:’ Madison Officer, Passerby Nurse Save Man, 53, Unconscious On Sidewalk A Madison police officer and a passerby nurse worked together to save the life of a man who had collapsed on the sidewalk and gone into cardiac arrest Saturday afternoon. Madison Police Patrolman Patrick Strafaci responded “within seconds” to the area of Main Street near Station Road after a caller stated that a man was lying unresponsive on the sidewalk around 12:10 p.m., authorities said.
