The pharmacy will close April 26 and transfer prescriptions to the Flanders store in Mount Olive, and the store itself will close May 10.
The new 170,000-square-foot mall will be 50,000 square feet larger than the current facility, which opened in 1999, the report says.
The project is part of Walmart's $96 billion company investment to improve New Jersey stores this year, according to a recent announcement.
Among 13 other locations being renovated at stores in Rockaway and Hackettstown.
A renovation of the Ledgewood Mall -- soon-to-be The Shops at Ledgewood Commons -- is under way.
