Wildfire Consumes 450 Acres Of Wharton State Forest (Updated) A wildfire has consumed 450 acres in Wharton State Forest in Burlington County, authorities said on Friday, July 5. The "Tea time Hill" wildfire had not been contained at all as of 3 p.m., the New Jersey Forest Fire Service said. The Forest Fire Service is on scene of the wildfire burning in the area of the Batona Campground and Apple Pie Hill in Tabernacle Township, the state agency said on Facebook. Motorist, 35, Killed In 4-Vehicle Crash In Burlington County A 35-year-old driver from Burlington County was killed in a four-vehicle collision, authorities said. Based on a preliminary investigation Rafael Colin Salinas, of Tabernacle Township, was operating a Nissan Titan south on Route 206, according to New Jersey State Police. The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. Monday, June 26. Salinas stopped to make a left turn onto a property, State Police said. A Freightliner M2 was being operated behind the Nissan Titan. At about 3 p.m. on Tuesday, an unidentified man arrived at Rainbow International of Burlington County and inquired about purchasing trailer ramps through the company’s Ring camera, State Police said.
