Wrong-Way Drunk Driver Arrested On Route 37: Toms River PBA
A drunk driver was arrested after he was going the wrong way in Toms River Saturday, July 25, authorities said.
Officers observed a vehicle heading eastbound in the westbound lanes on Route 37, the Toms River PBA said. Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the vehicle continued going the wrong way on Route 37, authorities said.
As the vehicle fled the scene, it almost struck a multiple vehicles and officers initiated a pursuit, with the car still traveling the wrong way, authorities said.

Meth, Klonopin Get Trio Arrested Near Walmart: Stafford PD
Three people were arrested for drugs following a traffic stop near Walmart in Manahawkin, authorities said.
At 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, a drug enforcement unit pulled over a vehicle near 525 Route 72 West, Stafford police said. During the course of the investigation, detectives determined Kristina Gordon, a 51-year-old Barnegat resident, had two active no-bail warrants for her arrest, police said.
During a search incident to Gordon's arrest, detectives recovered a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and multiple pills believed to be clonazepam a.k.a. klonopon, police said.
