Update: North Bergen Special Police Officer Dies From Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound UPDATE: A special police officer from North Bergen who shot himself in the parking lot of a Hudson River hotel in Edgewater succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, authorities said.
