US Marshals Arrest Trenton Fugitive In Fatal Shooting: Prosecutor
A 38-year-old fugitive from Trenton has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting, authorities said. Chelsey White was charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. White was arrested on Sunday, March 9 in Branchburg by members of the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, Onofri said. Fugitive Hunters Involved In Fatality In Newark Park: AG
UPDATE: What witnesses said was a fatal shooting involving law enforcement at West Side Park in Newark is being reviewed by state authorities. New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin's office confirmed Wednesday night, Aug. 30, that members of the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and "additional local law enforcement agencies" were involved in the death of a man at the park on Tuesday. GOTCHA! A broad-daylight road-rage shooting on Route 80 led to the capture of a Manhattan man by federal marshals and New Jersey State Police, authorities said.
