Woman Convicted Of Killing Mother In Shared South Jersey Apartment: Prosecutor A 27-year-old woman has been found guilty of killing her mom in 2019 in their shared South Jersey apartment, authorities said. Marisa Rivera was convicted of murder and two weapons offenses in the Sept. 6, 2019 killing of Denise DeNapoli, 56, in Mount Holly, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw said. The ruling was handed down by Criminal Court Judge Terrence R. Cook, who conducted a bench trial at the defendant’s request. Sentencing was scheduled for March 8. NJ Woman Hoarding 44 Dog Carcasses Admits To Killing 6, Gets Prison Time: Prosecutor A woman originally linked to dozens of dead dogs reached a plea-bargained agreement admitting to killing six dogs, authorities said. Donna Roberts' guilty plea calls for 90 days in Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly, according to  Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Roberts, 68, of Shamong, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty for causing the death of six dogs that were being kept at her property by failing to provide them with proper care, Coffina said.
