Motorcyclist, 74, Killed By Car Making U-Turn In South Jersey A 74-year-old motorcyclist from South Jersey was killed when he struck a car making a U-Turn, authorities said. Thomas Pitt of Clayton was operating a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle when the fatal crash occurred, Clayton police said. On Saturday, May 6 at 7:41 p.m., Clayton police were dispatched to North Delsea Drive at Earl Avenue for a report of a crash. The initial investigation revealed that a 2003 White Honda Civic, driven by a 25-year old Deptford resident, was traveling south on Delsea Drive.
