'The Flames Consumed Everything': Fire Destroys Central Jersey Family's Home, Fundraiser Says A Howell Township family lost their home and pets in a "devastating" house fire, according to a fundraising campaign. A GoFundMe page said the Glowzenski family's home of more than 30 years was destroyed in the fire on Tuesday, May 21. Howell police said officers responded to the fire on Woodstown Drive at around 3:35 p.m. Everyone inside the home got out safely and no first responders were injured in the fire. Firefighters Battle Blaze At Central Jersey Home A fire ripped through a house in Monmouth County, authorities said. Howell Township police responded to the fire on Woodstown Drive at around 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, the department said in a news release. When officers arrived, they saw a "fully involved house fire." Everyone inside the home safely escaped from the building. No firefighters or other first responders were injured either. Woman Killed In House Fire On Jersey Shore A woman was killed in a house fire in Belmar  on Wednesday, March 15, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 4 p.m. on the 1700 block of Surf Avenue, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. The woman's name had not been released. Elderly Man's Body Found In Monmouth Condominium Fire The body of an elderly man was found after a fire Wednesday evening in Monmouth County, authorities said.  The man may have  tried to "self-extinguish" the fire at his Covered Bridge condominium on Pine Cluster Circle in Manalapan, reports said.  Gordon’s Corner firefighters and Manalapan police responded at about 6:30 p.m. The cause and manner of the unidentified condo owner's death remain under investigation, authorities said.  The Monmouth County Fire Marshal and Monmouth County Prosecutor are investigating.
