Man Brandished Gun On Atlantic City Expressway: Prosecutor
A 19-year-old man from Ventnor was sentenced Thursday, March 2 on a handgun charge, authorities said. John Stevens, of Ventnor, was sentenced to three- and one-half years in New Jersey State Prison where he must serve the entire term before being eligible for parole, the Atlantic County Proseecutor's Office said. Stevens did not have a permit to carry a handgun. South Jersey Man Admits Illegally Possessing Handgun, Prosecutor Says
A 19-year-old man from South Jersey admitted to possessing a firearm, authorities said. John Stevens, of Ventnor, pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing the unloaded weapon on Feb. 17, 2021, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Hackensack police seized 128 pounds of pot from a reputed Chinese organized crime member from San Francisco during a traffic stop, authorities said. Narcotics Bureau Detectives Sergio Raneli and Nart Marza stopped the rented 2019 Chrysler Pacifica with Florida license plates on eastbound Route 80 after the driver failed to signal, Detective Capt. Brick Police Chase Down Lakewood Man Cutting Copper At Flaming Grill
A 46-year-old man from Lakewood was chased down by police after being discovered cutting copper out of air conditioning units, authorities said. Brick Police Officer Cody Oliverio was patrolling Riverwalk Plaza on Hooper Avenue about 10 p.m. Wednesday when he spotted a man with bolt cutters at the Flaming Grill Buffet, police said in a statement.
