Storm Flooding, Road Closures, Downed Wires Persist In Mercer County Police and firefighters continued to grapple with flooding, area road closures and downed power lines following the storm. Scattered power outages persisted throughout Mercer County where more than 700 homes and businesses remained without power early Wednesday, Jan. 10, according to Jersey Central Power & Light. Among roads that remained closed early Wednesday included: Mercer Road between Province Line Road and Lovers Lane in Princeton remained closed due to flooding.
