Ford announced that it would recall over 450,000 Bronco Sport SUVs and Maverick vehicles because of an issue with the battery that can cause the drive train to lose power and increase the likelihood of wrecks. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released a report on Friday, April 12, saying sensors in the car could fail to notice a change in the battery's power. Police investigators in Bensalem are asking for the public's help in tracking down a hit-and-run driver. A red Ford F350 extended cab pickup truck hit a pedestrian just before midnight on Friday, Jan. 12, sending him to the hospital with broken bones, authorities said. It happened near the corner of Street Road and Brookwood Drive, according to police. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the southbound side when an Audi lost control, ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and then re-entered the highway near milepost 39.9, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. Driver, 51, Killed In South Jersey Crash: Police
A 51-year-old man from Millville was killed after he collided with an SUV, authorities said. Elmer Rosell died at the crash scene, according to Millville Police Chief Ross Hoffman. A 41-year-old Leesburg woman was driving a Ford Bronco southbound on the 2300 block of South 2nd Street in Millville at 4:48 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, when her vehicle collided with a Chevy Malibu attempting to make a left turn out of Country Meadows Mobile Home Park, Hoffman said.
