Fatal Trenton House Fire Called 'Suspicious' UPDATED: Authorities are investigating the cause of a fatal house fire that is considered suspicious. An elderly man was killed in the three-alarm blaze in Trenton on Tuesday night. After the fire was extinguished, the body of the dead man was found in fire debris, according to Casey DeBlasio, a spokeswoman with the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. The blaze broke out about 8:30 p.m. in a home that was cluttered with hoarded belongings on the 700 block of Southard Street, authorities said.
