Update: South Jersey Police Investigate Fatal Electric Scooter Crash UPDATED: Authorities were investigating a crash in which a man riding an electric scooter in Burlington County was killed early Thursday. A man in his 30s was struck on Indel Avenue at Woodlane Road in Westampton about 6 a.m., according to initial reports. The victim's name had not been released. The man, who was reportedly thrown 100 feet from the impact, was pronounced dead at the crash scene, Westampton police said. The car's driver pulled over a short distance from the crash, police said.
